Thanksgiving Thoughts

Since Christmas is almost here, I had better hurry and write about Thanksgiving.  We had a simple, but fun Thanksgiving.  Jacob had to work every day during the 4-day weekend so that wasn't very fun.  It didn't feel much like Thanksgiving since I wasn't cooking a big meal and Jacob was at work.  Claire and I did a little thankfulness project on Thanksgiving day so that helped out.  We cut out pictures from the Friend magazine of things Claire was thankful for.  We had a fun time looking at the pictures and talking about what we are thankful for.  We were so happy to be invited over the Jones' house for Thanksgiving dinner.  I made sweet potato pie casserole to add to the delicious dinner provided by the Jones'.  I am always so thankful we have a wonderful ward family!  We loved visiting with the Jones' and the other two families that were there, Rachel and Stas, and the Temple family.  Besides worrying about the kids breaking the Jones' china plates and glasses, we had a wonderful time! :)
