Such a GIRL!

Claire has always been more of a girly-girl than a tom-boy, but lately her girlyness has sprung to a different level.  She is obsessed with wearing skirts everyday.  My mom made her a skirt for Christmas that has a bunch of ruffles on it and she loves to wear it and run around so she can feel the skirt move around her legs.  She also enjoys just running around in a circle singing with any skirt on.  Claire also can't get enough of trying on my shoes.  She makes such a mess getting them all out of my closet and walking around them in the house.  Almost everywhere we go, Claire needs to have a bag too, just like mommy.  One of my favorites is that everyday she announces, "today pink is my favorite color."  Pink is usually the favorite, but sometimes purple gets a day too.  Only once has she said another color, which was white, and that only lasted about half a day.  Claire also loves putting on a headband that was hers from when she was a baby.  Her hair is a crazy mess, but she loves it!  Claire also wants to put make-up on all the time, but especially when I am doing my own.  One of Claire's favorite things to have done is for daddy to paint her toenails.  Currently they are red!  Claire has never minded me doing her hair and leaving bows in and it is still the same.  I am so glad she loves having bows in her hair because I think it is so cute.
