Wow! 4-5 months

I keep being shocked at how quickly time is flying by.  I can't believe Tommy is already 20 weeks old and Claire keeps growing and turning into such a big girl as well.    We are finally over the sicknesses of the last post and hopefully we will keep having better, happier days ahead.  Two weeks ago I took Tommy for his 4month check-up and here are his stats:

Weight: 15lbs, 11.5oz (50%)

Height: 2ft, 2in (85%)

Head Circumference: 44.5cm (95%)

Claire had a big head too so Tommy is just keeping up the tradition. :)  Tommy has been such a sweetheart lately, very smiley and happy and loves the sound of his voice.  Tommy began waking up at night and not being not happy during the day, even with eating around 7.5oz of breastmilk at each feeding so I realized it was time for solids to commence.  He is doing okay with rice cereal, getting better at eating it with every feeding.  He is sleeping through the night again!  Another change I made was to quit swaddling him.  Tommy kept waking up every time he came out of his swaddle so I decided to stop that and he has adjusted quickly.

One of the sweetest things is how much Tommy loves Claire.  He loves watching her run around and play and will smile and laugh at her.  Especially if Claire gets close to his face and talks to him.  Claire is also loving Tommy more and will go and get stuffed animals and toys for him to play with.  She even wanted him to sleep with her puppy which is a sure sign of love because puppy is her favorite!
