Claire's swim class!

Claire is getting so old I can hardly stand it!  She went to her first solo gym and swim classes this past month.  It was so strange to just drop her off without a knowing exactly what she was going to be doing and how she would behave.  Parents are not allowed to accompany their children to the pool so I was anxious to know how she would do.  But, she came back from each class happy and excited and telling me that she was learning to swim!  On the last week of the session, parents are allowed to watch so I was able to snap a few pictures of Claire in the swimming portion of her class.

Swimming and blowing bubbles with the teacher.  The teachers said Claire was unusually clingy and asking for help this week.  I'm not sure if it was because I was there or she may just not have felt well.

Even though Claire was anxious and wanting the teachers help, she still was a trooper and did everything the teachers asked and didn't whine or complain.  I was proud of her!  We are skipping this next swimming session because we will be out of town for three weeks, but Claire and I are excited to have her started again as soon as we get back!
