Claire is 3.5!

Claire is such a sweet and kind girl!  I am loving watching her grow up and being able to question and understand so much.  She is constantly asking me questions about everything and wanting to know "why".  Why the rules, why there is snow, why we put gas in the car, why we have spring, why we wash the dishes...why about everything.  It is fun and exhausting to answer all these questions!

Claire loves Primary!  She is so excited to go to church each week and asks multiple times in sacrament meeting if it is time for primary yet.  I play church and primary songs for her during room time and in the car the majority of the time, so she has learned most of the words to the songs.  Several teachers have commented on how impressed they are that she can sing almost all the songs as a new sunbeam.  I am impressed and proud too!

Claire is really a great big sister.  She gets frustrated with Tommy taking her toys and sharing, but overall she does really well.  Claire likes to help Tommy and get him toys and try to dress him up in princess clothes.  We try to discourage that last one. :)  If Tommy is sad in the car she likes to sing to him or makes faces at him to help him be happy.  She is always wanting to share her snacks with him too!  Claire especially loves to tell me when Tommy is getting into things or doing things he shouldn't be. :)

I cannot believe I will be sending Claire to preschool in the fall.  We signed her up and she is so excited to go to preschool when she is 4.  We have been working on writing her name and she is getting good at drawing shapes.  Claire loves to color and do other little crafts.

Claire especially loves to run and jump around, dance, and do somersaults.  I am excited to put her in a gymnastics class at the Y soon.  I think she has a natural aptitude for it and will do well!  Claire is in love with all things princess and loves dressing up in princess dresses.  One of her favorite games is for Claire to be the princess, mommy the wicked queen, and daddy the prince who always saves her from the wicked queen with true loves kiss.  It is actually pretty fun to pretend with her.  Claire has been into being mommy lately and putting diapers on her teddy, putting her stuffed animals down to sleep, and getting food for them.

 I am always so impressed with what a kind and sweet girl she is.  I hope she stays this way forever.  It melts my heart to hear Claire say, "I love you Mommy!"
