A huge stump

The summer we moved into our house (2 years ago) Jacob had a friend from work come over to help us remove a pine tree that was too close to our house.  Jacob went a little chainsaw crazy and "trimmed" a bush in the back of our backyard.  He actually destroyed it and the bush died.  So while my mom was here helping our family, Jacob decided to dig it out.  He did dig it out, but it was way too heavy for him to move himself.  Luckily my brother Eric and his wife Katrina were able to come visit us while my mom was here.  Eric helped Jacob get that huge stump out of our yard.  Claire and Tommy had a blast running around while Jacob and Eric worked.  Tommy still talks about how fun it was to be outside when Eric and Katrina were here.

We are so glad to have the stump gone so we can use the space.  Jacob planted grass where the bush was, hopefully the grass will grow!
