9 Month Report!

Claire turned 9 months old on the 15th of May.  I took her to the doctor today and here are her 9 months stats.  She is 50th percentile for her height and weight, but her head circumference is a little big.  Wonder where she gets that from?  Probably my side because my little bro has an especially large head (he even had to have a special helmet ordered for football). ;)

Weight: 18lbs 11oz

Height 27 1/2 in

Head Circumference 44.5cm

Claire has met all of her milestones such as crawling, furniture walking, pulling herself up on items, momentarily stopping something if I tell her no, putting objects in her mouth, moving objects from one hand to the other, grabbing her feet, rolling over, and hitting the tops of tables with her hand or toys.  The only items she is not doing is clapping with her fingers spread out and waving.  I'm not worried about those milestones as I believe she will be able to do them closer to 10 months.  

 

 And speaking of crawling, Claire is entering into the phase known to many and dreaded by most: speed crawling!  She is getting faster everyday at crawling to reach everything she wants.  I actually am quite impressed and think it is adorable. Check out the video below.

Claire also opens her mouth so wide and breaths in and out, kinda like she is laughing a breathy laugh.  She is doing it at the 12 second mark on the video below.  She also scrunches up her nose and breaths in and out really fast as well.  That comes later in the video at the 23 second mark.  I think it is adorable to watch her do these things...she must get these ideas from her dad! :)

Claire fell asleep in her high chair a week ago, super cute!!  The first and only time!  She loves eating Cheerios and she is working on perfecting her pincher grasp.
