my poor hubby :(

Jacob had a sinus infection a few weeks ago and went to the doc to receive some medication.  He only had one pill left to take, but on Sunday, the allergic reaction began...  He became unbearably itchy while we were at church and was scratching all over.  When we got home he took off his shirt and saw hives all over his back.  We first thought he got too much sun at a water park on Saturday and had a sun rash, but a trip to urgent care early Monday morning revealed he is allergic to Sulfameth.  They gave him a cortisone shot, some pills, and a lotion to help control the itchiness. 

The sun on Saturday intensified the reaction and the doc said to not go out in the sun for two days as he will destroy his skin that has been badly damaged.  Come to find out, Jacob's mom is also allergic the same medication...something to watch out for with Claire.  Now the reaction has spread from his back to down his legs and arms, even on the palms of his hands and feet, and on his ear lobes.  I feel so bad for my hubby, he is extremely uncomfortable and there is not much to do but wait till the medicine finds it's way out of his body.  Here are a few pics of the bad rash (not for the faint of heart).
