We are super excited about this opportunity and I know Jacob will do an excellent job. He is so smart! Jacob has much more responsibility now which is good because it is the next step in his career, but it also means a lot more late nights away from home. He has had a late night almost every night since he started in his new position which I strongly dislike. But I am trying to be a good wife and be supportive of the time away from home because I know it is what has to happen. I hope it will get better as he becomes more established in his new role. I am proud of Jacob and am grateful for all his hard work to provide for our family!

Promotion!
Some exciting news that I have neglected to announce is that Jacob just got a promotion to Maintenance Manager at the company he works for! He began working in his new role on November 2nd and has gets to do double duty (still doing his last job too) until the new year. :) The opportunity was unexpected and not a role we had anticipated him working as, but when the opportunity arose it just felt right. Jacob is in charge of managing 5 maintenance technicians and all the maintenance budget and projects for the whole plant. Basically if anything breaks he has to make sure it gets fixed from clogged toilets to the million dollar machines.

Nate told about Jacob's promotion! That is awesome! I totally feel your pain about the late nights. Sometimes it is hard to be supportive when you just want them at home with you, but it is part of the job I guess!
