Claire is 3!

Claire is 3 and she is still such a sweet girl!  On her birthday we had just a little family party to open presents and eat some ice cream.  We had to take her to the doctor on her birthday for a lingering cough and we were at the office for forever because she ended up needing chest x-rays the next day.  She has possible pneumonia or asthmatic bronchitis.... she wasn't contagious and she was acting super happy and fine so the doctors are not sure what is going on.  So we go back for her 3 year old well child check today and to see if her lungs sound clear.  Hopefully so!

Anyway....We had our family party quickly at home and then on Saturday we had a "pink princess party" since that is what Claire specifically asked for with all her friends.  Here are some pictures of our sweetheart on her birthday!

Claire on her birthday, getting ready for presents and ice cream!

Claire and Tommy!  Tommy has taken to making the funniest faces whenever I get the camera out.

Speaking of funny faces...nice one Claire!

We got Claire a doctor's kit because Claire is always obsessed with the doctor's stethoscope whenever we go to the doctor.  She loves her doctor's kit and we and the princess' are frequently being checked out.

Grandma and Grandpa F. got Claire some princesses!  She is in love!

Claire opening her doll closet from her Aunt Emily and family.  She really was happy to get this present and loves to play with it.

My mom made this hooded bath towel for Claire.  Super adorable and Claire loves her "princess towel".

It has been so fun to see Claire grow and change into a wonderful 3-year old girl.  Claire is smart and kind to others and shares her toys very willingly...most of the time.  She is really starting to love princesses and frequently wants to know what my favorite princess is.  I think the best thing about Claire is she is almost always happy.  No matter where we are or what we are doing she is happy and excited to just be there and to soak in all the fun there is to be had.
