Claire was a big helper and had a lot of fun scooping out the guts once I assured her it was okay and that we could wash her hands after.
Happy girl!
Tommy was only interested in helping for a few minutes. He wanted to try to lift the pumpkins and did not want to touch the goupy stuff. He played most of the time while Claire and I carved.
The finished products! Claire's was a cat with a moon and Tommy's was a scary face. Tommy got to pick what shapes the eyes and nose were. Both of the kids thought it was awesome to turn off the lights and look at the pumpkins lit up!
