Both Roni and I love making food and think that food can really make or break an event...so we went a little over-board with the food. But it was delicious!! We kept the rest simple and just had a few games so people could mostly eat and chat. We did a guessing game with candies, a fill-out your own return address drawing game, and baby bingo where the guests filled out their own cards with what they thought Julia might receive and when she opened the presents they got to cross off that item if they wrote it down. We had a great turn-out with about 21 guests. Julia received a lot of adorable clothes and blankets for her baby girl!

We had french toast casserole, bacon and hash-brown casserole, fruit tray with dip, almond-poppyseed bread, pumpkin muffins, chicken salad in mini-croissants, black bean and avocado dip, and a yummy cranberry drink!
The theme was "sprinkled with love" so we had a dessert table with everything sprinkled! It was so fun and adorable! We had sprinkled popcorn, sugar cookies, mini-cupcakes, chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate dipped pretzels, chocolate dipped brownie balls and assorted candies. Can you say sugar high?!

The welcome station! People wrote their congratulations and name on the mat. Claire and Roni's daughter, Sydney, snuck in this picture! They are best friends and played so well with Tommy while the mommies did the shower.
And Julia with the adorable baby blanket made by our mom and Aunt Susan. They really did an amazing job!
