Claire and Tommy reading together on this holiday. They play together super well...most of the time!
Since I was cooking everything myself I wanted to experiment to make a delicious turkey. I decided to brine my turkey the day before and it worked out perfectly. It took a lot more time and work to brine the turkey, but the turkey turned out moist and yummy and was totally worth the effort. I think I have found my favorite way to cook a turkey!
The kids and I made these turkey decorations a few weeks before Thanksgiving. We thought it would be fun to decorate the table with them. Claire's is on the left and Tommy's is on the right.
I really wanted our family to think about what we were thankful for this year so I made a thankful tree. Everyday for about a week each of us said one thing we were grateful for. It was fun to hear what Jacob and the kids thought of each night. Claire especially wanted to think of spiritual things which was sweet! The list is below!
