Columbus Temple

On Saturday we drove to the Columbus, Ohio Temple to attend a session.  The temple is about 3-3.5 hours (or 2.5 if Jacob is driving :) ) away so it makes for a long trip.  We enjoyed being able to attend the temple and to feel the spirit and reverence there, if you want to know what I'm talking about, look here.  Our friends drove with us to carpool so we enjoyed talking and spending some more time with them...except Chelsea slept most of the way to and from, poor pregnant lady!  Claire did pretty well driving there, only a few screaming fits because she was so tired due to a short nap in the morning.  She never did fall asleep so I was worried she would be a bear for the youth who came to babysit, but I heard she did just great.  I was so grateful she did well and that the youth were willing to help us out and provide babysitting!!  Claire conked out immediately on the way home and we enjoyed a nice quiet ride all the way home.  Riley kept Jacob awake at the wheel by asking all sort of questions no one knows the answers to and telling random and interesting stories...thanks Riley!
