here to stay!

We are here to stay in Ohio!...for a few years at least.  Jacob ends the GOLD program in February and has just finalized his contract with Avery Dennison to hire-on permanently in his current position as a Process Engineer.  Yay!!  He really enjoys the work that he does, he likes his boss and will learn a lot from him, and feels he can benefit the company in doing his job here.  We are excited for a pay raise and are grateful that Jacob has such a great job amidst the nation's economic down right now.  Jacob will also begin schooling to receive his MBA in January as well if everything works out as it should.  We are excited for him to go back to school, but not so excited for the more stress and time away from home that will result.

It is so weird not to be moving and to think that we will be living here in Ohio for a while.  I knew we would most likely stay here, but it is weird to transition from the always moving and looking to the next place to really considering making this area our home.  We would love to purchase a house in the area, but feel we should focus on paying off our student loans and car before we begin that adventure.  We really love living next to all the LDS Church History sites in Kirtland Ohio.  Check them out here: http://lds.org/placestovisit/region/0,10749,1775-1-1,00.html.  The ward we attend is great and we have made a lot of really wonderful friends in the short time we have been here.  I think we will be happy sticking around for a few more years!
