MT visits OH!

My parents were able to come out to Ohio for almost two weeks in September!  It was so great to see them for a long time and not feel like we had to do everything in a small amount of time.  Luckily, my dad's sister Annette and her husband Bill were able to come and visit for three days of the trip as well!  My parents, aunt and uncle, and Julia went and toured all the church history sites in Kirtland and we all were able to take a day trip into Cleveland when my brother Eric and his wife Katrina came to visit as well.  In Cleveland we got to see a famous building called the Arcade, a really neat civil war monument, and the Museum of Art.  My parents also went with Julia on a two day trip to Palmyra to visit all the church sites there.  It was a busy two weeks, but it was so fun and I am so happy I got to see so much family during my trip!

One of the evenings I took my mom and dad, and aunt Annette and uncle Bill to Headlands Beach to see Lake Erie.  It was a beautiful night and the kids loved playing in the water.  Most of us took off our shoes and enjoyed putting our toes in the water!

The best toy for a kid is a stick!

My mom and I with Tommy sneaking in the picture!  Lake Erie really looks like an ocean because you cannot see any land on the other side.

My dad, annette, bill, and me!

Here is grandma playing ring-around-the-rosy with the kids!  Claire and Tommy loved all the special attention they got over the visit as well!

Jacob and I really love the area we live in and we were so happy to share it with everyone who came.  We were able to enjoy tons of fresh tomatoes from our garden the entire time so that was really fun too!  Please come again!
