Tommy is a SUNBEAM!

In January Tommy became a sunbeam in our church for his primary class!  Just look how handsome this boy is!  Tommy is 3 and a half now and it is so fun to watch him learn and grow!  We had many talks about what it would mean to be a sunbeam; that primary is different than nursery because there are not any toys and not as many snacks.  Tommy has done so well with the transition thankfully! On his first day Tommy said his favorite parts were the crackers and singing!  Jacob and I are told he listens really well and can answer the questions his teacher asks.  There are two boys in Tommy's class that are rather difficult because they want to be running wild so we have been so proud of Tommy for being a good example by sitting down and listening to his teachers.

Tommy and Claire have a special relationship and love to play together!  Tommy is always excited to go get Claire from the bus stop and to have her home.

Tommy is still our intense boy!  Though he is getting much better at regulating his emotions and using his words when he is upset.  It takes a lot of reminders and patience (which is often in short supply around here) to help Tommy not scream and cry.  Tommy is often very obedient and helpful which is so nice!  Tommy is a good big brother to Lincoln.  He loves to push Lincoln around on toys and will help Lincoln find a ball if he is playing with one as well.  Tommy really is a sweetheart and Jacob and I enjoy the many hugs and kisses he has for both of us!
