We got the sweetest surprise at Target today. I was pushing the cart with Claire in it with Jacob lagging behind us and noticed a lady with 4 girls (ages 8-12ish) in the store. A while later I heard "excuse me,...excuse me" and the lady was trying to get my attention. She explained that she and the girls were being Santa's helpers that day and that the girls decided to give a $10.00 gift card to Claire. I was so surprised and excited to have Claire be the recipient of such a nice act of kindness. Of course, when we actually had money to spend Jacob and I had the hardest time deciding what to get. We went up and down all the toy and clothes aisles and finally decided on a cute shirt. We are very thankful to those kind Santa's helpers!

Another little story: Today we were at Chick-fil-a and I took Claire into the play area and another little girl of about 4 looked at Claire and said in the sweetest voice "she is
so cute!" My heart just melted for the little girl and Claire!
What happy times! I like that random act of kindness idea for being a Santa's Helper.
