baby shower!

Two weekends ago we had a baby shower for Chelsea!  We have loved getting to know her and Riley and jumped at the chance to throw a shower for her.  Courtney and I put the shower together and Lindsay hosted it at her home.  We have loved reliving all of the anticipation and excitement of our own first babies through Chelsea and her sweet baby to come.  All of us girls joke how we don't know who is more excited for baby to arrive, us or her! 

I was so impressed with the turn-out for the shower.  We invited mostly women from our church and I was a little concerned how many ladies would know Chelsea and want to come because she only moved here in August.  Chelsea must have made friends quickly because we had around 17 ladies attend.  We love our ward family and we had such a great time visiting, eating, playing games, and of course...opening presents!  Here are a few pictures of the fun event!

We also did a few very fun games.  I did baby concentration with corresponding candy (i.e. find the matching word of "umbilical cord" got you a licorice rope) and Courtney did a name that baby food smelling game.  We also did a few guess the number of candies in bottles.  The shower was so much fun and I am so glad Chelsea and Riley moved here!  Now I just can't wait to meet their baby!
