Easter Part 2

Easter Sunday started off a little crazy, but we ended up having a wonderful Easter Day.  I had to go to church early so I left Jacob to get Claire ready and on to church on time.  Claire didn't wake up until 8:30 that morning and we need to leave by 8:40 to get to church on time.  Jacob obviously did not make it on time and Claire was dressed in a super cute outfit, but her hair was a disaster.  It was cute to watch Jacob come in all rushed with our baby just before the Sacrament was given.  The rest of church turned out well and we rushed home so we could make some yummy food for dinner with some of our friends from church.  I made sweet potato casserole and homemade crescent rolls.  Other friends made a delicious ham, green beans, and dessert.  I just love yummy holiday food!

Here is a picture of Claire and her friend getting ready to toss balls down the stairs.  I'm sure all of our neighbors just love it when our babies do this. :)

Claire on the way up and her friend waiting!

I tried to get Claire to pose with these cute bunny ears, but she was not interested.  This was the best shot I could get.

After we got home from dinner, we finally had a chance to open Claire's Easter basket with her.  It was so fun to watch her look over each item and get excited about the M&M fan and the bubbles.

Daddy and Claire opening the bubbles.

It was a pretty nice day out so we took the bubbles right outside to show Claire.  She absolutely loved trying to catch the bubbles and dance all around in them.

I love how Claire has pure enjoyment shown all over her face!

  1. Claire looks so grown up I can't believe it. Easter looked pretty fun at your house! It is so fun to watch them get excited and understand the holidays a little more.
