Family Visits: Farmparks!

We knew the kids would love to see Farmparks while they were visiting, so we took them to Farmpark for a day.  My sister had actually seen one of my earlier posts of when our family went to Farmparks and thought it looked like so much fun that she thought her family would like to go while they were here.  We all had a great time!

Here is the cow we got to learn all about how to milk.

They had tons of sheep and/or pigmy goats in the stable area.  Samantha was very interested.

Farmparks actually had a bunch running around the outside of the pens, so the kids LOVED chasing and petting them.

On the day that we went, they were grooming a mini-horse and let us help.  It was so great that the horse was such a small size and not too intimidating; the kids were happy and excited to help.

Couldn't help but post this picture because it is so awesome.  Don't hate me Beth, this may be the best picture of the whole trip! :)

We got to watch a border collie rounding up sheep demonstration.  It really was amazing to watch.  The dog was so smart and knew exactly how to move those sheep where the lady wanted them.  The dog even got all the sheep into that covering behind them.  It was fascinating!
